Next JS Framework

John Wick

Next.js is a powerful web development framework built on top of React. It enables developers to build full-stack web applications that are fast, SEO-friendly, and scalable. It was created by Vercel and is widely used in modern web development.
Next.js supports several rendering methods: server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), client-side rendering (CSR), and incremental static regeneration (ISR). This makes it flexible and suitable for all kinds of projects, from blogs to large enterprise dashboards.
With Next.js, routing is file-based. That means you create a new page simply by adding a new file inside the pages or app directory. As of version 13, Next.js introduced a new routing system called the App Router, which supports layouts, nested routes, and better loading experiences.
It also includes features like API routes, allowing you to build backend endpoints without leaving the same project. You can handle both frontend and backend logic in a single Next.js app.
Styling in Next.js is flexible—you can use CSS Modules, Tailwind CSS, Sass, styled-components, or any CSS-in-JS library. For TypeScript users, Next.js has built-in TypeScript support.
Other features include built-in image optimization, internationalization (i18n), and performance optimizations like automatic code splitting and fast refresh for a better development experience.
To get started with Next.js, you can use the official create-next-app command. Once set up, you can start creating components and pages and utilize all the features mentioned above to build a full-stack React application.
